Connie & Michael – Azores, Portugal

A couple of weekends ago I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Azores, which are a small grouping of Portuguese  islands in the Atlantic to photograph Connie and Michael’s wedding.  Earlier this year I photographed Connie’s sister Marianna’s wedding.

The Azores are such beautiful Islands.  Sao Jorge, the island the wedding was on, is so green and mountainous with cool small villages that have so much history and character.  Connie’s parents live in the U.S. but grew up together in one of the villages and now own a home there.  They have such a cool story.

Thank you Connie and Michael and all your friends and family for welcoming me and treating me like part of the family.

Marianna & George – Modesto, CA

Last weekend I had the pleasure of going to Modesto, CA to shoot Marianna & George’s wedding.  I had never been to that part of the country so I was very excited to visit a new place.

Marianna and George got married in a Greek Orthodox Church in Modesto which was absolutely beautiful inside.  I’ve never been in a church like it.  It was very dark to shoot it, but full of such wonderful color.  The reception was a little south in Turlock.

I’ll be shooting Marianna’s sisters wedding next month in Portugal so stay tuned for those photos.

Cabo part tres!

Here are photos from Jenny & Matt’s wedding that I shot last weekend.  This was my second trip to Cabo in two weeks and I had just as much fun on this trip as the last.

Jenny & Matt’s wedding was held at the Cabo Surf Hotel.  It’s a smaller hotel that some of the huge resorts along the coast so it made for a nice quiet and beautiful location.

There were so many beautiful details including starfish for the table seating, flip flops for dancing shoes, and even a signature drink called a Burning Mandorin…..sooooo yummy!

Thank you Jenny & Matt for such an awesome time!  I can’t wait to see you again in Portugal later this year at Connie & Michael’s wedding!  Stay tuned for those photos in August!.
