reminiscing

Tonight I was reminiscing about my time in Hawaii this January. Here are a few more pics I forgot I had taken.

While I was reminiscing about Hawaii tonight, I remembered that I had taken a series of photos back in ’06 that would compose a panoramic image of Kona. This is the pano composed of about 30 shots I took from the pier one day. I also did the same pano in the evening. I haven’t put that one together yet. Eventually I will make actual prints from each photo and piece them together to make a huge pano I can put on the wall.

Magnificent!!

U2, the greatest band in the world, came out with a new album yesterday. While most of the album will take some time to grow on me, there is one song in particular that is simply amazing. It’s called “Magnificent”, which it is. I can not wait to hear this song live because the guitar riffs are made to echo in a large stadium. It will seriously be a spiritual experience.

U2 is by far the best live show I have ever seen. Anyone who is a U2 fan and has seen them live, knows exactly what I’m talking about. With all the spiritual overtones of their music, it really is like a worship experience for me.

Anyway, I highly recommend checking out that song, if not the whole album.
