While I was in Minneapolis I took some photos of my cousins children. It was my Christmas gift to them last year and we’re just now getting around to taking some photos. We wanted to do a fun outdoor urban session but of course, the day we planned on taking photos, we woke up to snow on the ground. Snow….in April. Two days prior it was 75ยบ and we were riding bikes in shorts and t-shirts. I guess Minneapolis is as bad as Michigan sometimes.

Hey friends! This week I’m in Minneapolis looking at Condos and/or studio live/work spaces. I’ve been contemplating moving to Minneapolis for a while now and I’ve been researching spaces online. I decided it might help me make a decision to move or not if I came up here to check out the spaces I’ve been researching.
As most of you know, I currently just work from my home, which I love, but I’ve always wanted a huge open loft space in which I would live and work out of. I really want my own studio space and there just isn’t space in my home for that now. Condo’s in Minneapolis are not cheap, but the market for weddings is larger than GR. In GR, I could pretty much build my own building exactly how I wanted it for the same price as Condo in downtown Minneapolis. So, I really need to weigh my options. What’s more important, having my dream of living in a large studio/loft space, or being in an area that has more potential to help my business grow. Decisions decisions.
I may post some photos later this week of some of the spaces I’ve looked at in Minneapolis as well as Grand Rapids. Maybe you all can help me decide.

I think Stewie is becoming quite attached to my neighbor’s dog Pearle. Every time I let Stewie out in the backyard, he makes a bee-line for their yard to see if she’s outside. He even gets up on the back of my couch to look out the window at their yard to see if she’s outside.
Today I decided to take some quick shots of them playing. They have a blast together.
